Luxury Accommodation

The Riverland now offers absolute luxury accommodation not seen before using modern architecture and fittings to complement the magnificent Murray River sunset views that you can almost touch from your private balcony. Immerse yourself in this superb experience and you will fall in love again.

Imagine if 'the walls could talk’ about early paddle steamer crews, the bush rangers, the shearers and the early european settlers.
For accommodation options that have their own story to tell consider staying in one of the old stone  homes of the district. Some dating back to the late 1800’s.

Offering endless sunshine, the biggest river in Australia, a laidback lifestyle and great seasonal work, the Riverland and Murray River are a must-do experience for backpackers.
Check out our accommodation and spend some Rivertime in the company of our unique Australian wildlife that includes kangaroos, emus, kookaburras and cute koalas.

Discover why the Milky Way got its name. There are numerous secluded camping spots on the Murray River and its creeks and lakes offering a true outback experience and an opprtunity to wake up to a kookaburra call.

The National Park network contains a range of designated camp grounds some with basic facilities. Parks that require a permit include Murray River National Park, Danggali Conservation Reserve, Chowilla Game Reserve, Moorook Game Reserve and Loch Luna Game Reserve.
These are available via Parks SA.
